PROJECT: NHS BIG TEA

Brief

Inspire supporters to host an NHS Big Tea and raise vital funds for staff, patients and volunteers.

Strategy 

Support for the NHS during the pandemic was immense; the weekly claps, the ‘Thank you’ messages displayed proudly in windows and sprayed on walls. However, for the NHS Big Tea this messaging was clouding the purpose of the event.

Our approach was to move The NHS Big Tea campaign away from rainbow imagery and raising a cuppa as a signal of support, and turn the focus towards fundraising and the amazing hosts who make it all happen.

Creative

We designed a bold new lockup, colour palette and visual identity for the NHS Big Tea and put imagery of our 'Hero Hosts' front and centre of the campaign, alongside rousing headlines that invited supporters to ‘Join The Brew Crew’ and whack the kettle on.

We designed and produced a suite of campaign assets including posters, social assets, welcome and thank you packs and a JustGiving website containing a whole host of fundraising materials. In addition we created customisable assets for the 230 member charities and materials for Morrisons, allowing them to join in and spread the word.
