Each year astronomic sums of money and ginormous levels of effort are ploughed into promoting the world's largest brands. Meanwhile, by far the most important ‘global enterprise’ - Planet Earth itself - suffers serious neglect.

What if Planet Earth were a brand? And what if as much thought, care and passion were invested in its future prosperity? After all shiny smartphones, jazzy sneakers and cans of fizzy pop aren't much use if we don't have a world to enjoy them in…

This is the thought that inspired Planet Earth Brand Refresh, a comprehensive set of brand guidelines aimed at inspiring the creative industry - and the businesses they work alongside - to step up to the plate and start putting planet before profit.

The brand book includes a manifesto constructed from famous brand taglines such as ‘Think Different’ and ‘Finger Lickin’ Good’, logo usage rules, tone of voice guidelines and ideas for activating the brand, such as guerrilla marketing which invites users to stop reading and go plant trees.
