Inspiring shoppers to change their habits and shop local

CLIENT: THE SUSSEX PEASANT
PROJECT: HAND TO HAND

The Sussex Peasant provide fantastic locally sourced food at their pop-up markets in Brighton and surrounding towns. They wanted to inspire local shoppers to try them out.

As we got to know the team, we realised the importance of the intimate interactions they had with their producers and the local community. This sparked our key thought; ‘The less hands that touch the food in the supply chain the better, resulting in more care given to the produce, the community and the environment.

Our ‘Hand to Hand’ campaign brings to life this thought with the hero film showing produce being grown, tended to, harvested and passed From local producers, to us, to you’. We highlight the love, care and attention that's given to the produce and the effort taken to produce great local food.

In addition, a series of short films were created telling the individual stories of producers. These deeper stories explore the importance of nutrition, regenerative agriculture and biodiversity. They talk about embracing ‘local and seasonal’, community, and how like-minded people are helping each other overcome the challenges of climate change.
